Margaret Sawers and Graham Cullen The club was first founded in May 1922 at the Nowra Bowling club, and then moved to the Nowra show ground in 1939 where they resided until February 2009 when the club relocated to the present site in Cambewarra Road Bomaderry. While at the show ground the club had only one undersized lawn so were unable to hold large competitions. Now at Bomaderry, the new facility boasts two full sized lawns and a new facilities building opened by Mayor Paul Green in May this year to celebrate the club’s 90th Birthday In April this year the club hosted its first state competition, the division 2 doubles and singles Golf croquet. The competition which began on Friday 19th October at 8am and continued until Sunday at approximately 3pm saw players from: Canberra, Killara, Chatswood, Wollongong, Jamberoo, Milton Ulladulla, Narooma and Nowra competing.
