Golf Croquet Carnival

Nowra croquet club hosted its annual spring golf croquet carnival from Friday 18th to Monday 21st October 2013. In all, 27 players from Toronto, Jamberoo, Orange City, Killara, Young, Wollongong, Dubbo, Forster and Nowra competed in handicapped groups.

Players enjoyed the lawns and facilities of the club, whilst renewing and making new friends. The weather was fine but extremely hot. Whilst some clubs travelled daily to the event, others stayed and attended an evening dinner on the Saturday night.

On the final day a barbecue lunch was provided by the club and winners were presented with winning certifcates by local councillor Chris Robertson representing the Shoalhaven mayor. Words of graditude were made to the Captain of Nowra, Margaret Sawers and club members for their efforts in hosting a very sucessful carnival.
