Mangrove Mountain Croquet Club
We had another successful three day competition over the
2004 Australia Day
weekend. 12 Players started at 7:30am each day to fit in the games required in the round robin block of 12. The previous year's temperatures in excess of 40 degrees were replaced by good weather, interspersed with spectacular thunder storms. The MMCC courts held up well and drained freely.
Triple peels were few and shared between the eventual winner, Brett Rodgers and runnerup Peter Landrebe. It was great preparation for the Nationals planned for Albury Wodonga in March.
