Participants will be taken through the Beginner Coaching Manual so they are familiar and comfortable with the skills they need to teach. They will be shown a variety of methods by which they will be able to teach these skills to new players. The workshop is activity-based throughout. GOLF CROQUET COACH TRAINING ½ DAY (10.00am to 1.00pm)

Participants will be trained in the correct methods of teaching the grip. Swing, stance, ball control, the pendulum swing, hoop running etc. to beginning golf croquet players. The session is activity-based and information and methods on how to remedy bad habits will be discussed and practiced. LEVEL 1 COACH TRAINING DAY (10.00am to 3.30pm)

This workshop is aimed at those Beginner Coaches who are interested in upgrading to Level 1 coaching status. Garry O’Dell, a Level 2 coach will be dealing with the skills needed by Level 1 coaches to effectively teach both beginners and established players how to improve their skills and tactics. The emphasis will be on the variety of methods that a coach should be able to use to effectively get the message across and the day will be activity-based.
