2009 Australian Championships

Royal Sydney Golf Club

We are very pleased that Royal Sydney Golf Club has been very helpful in providing lawns for the Eire Cup. RSGC normally has only two croquet lawns, but they have agreed to turn tennis courts (which are directly adjacent to those lawns) into an additional two lawns to provide a four lawn venue. The existing lawns are as good as any lawns in Sydney, and we are confident that the two additional lawns will also be excellent. RSGC have gone out of their way to assist us - for example, lawns will be cut at dawn each day. RSGC is a private members club and has dress and other requirements for its members and their visitors. We ask that players and visitors comply with these requirements. RSGC has indicated that the requirements will not be strictly enforced in the croquet playing area only. Players and visitors are welcome to use the club facilities during and after play, but the requirements will need to be met if players want to use the clubhouse.

The requirements are set out below.
