REGULATIONS
CNSW WEATHER POLICY
SUSPENSION OR CESSATION OF PLAY
- In rain normally play will be suspended if there is water pooling on the surface
- The venue manager shall instruct the players to cease play immediately if there is lightning in the area and the players must comply. Players and officials should shelter in a safe area.
- Play will not be suspended due only to wind.
- It is not considered appropriate to use only a specific temperature to consider deferring play, however if, a combination of high temperature and high humidity create a safety issue and a player feels they are affected to such a degree they are unable to continue playing the venue manager should suspend play and consult with the tournament manager.
- The tournament manager will endeavour to reschedule the continuance at a later time but given the tight schedule this may not be possible and the player who ceased play would be treated as conceding the game.
