Come to the

2011 Australian Golf Croquet Championships

The Australian Open Doubles and Singles In Golf Croquet are to be held in Sydney commencing 14th May. The doubles will be held at Tempe, Sutherland and Port Hacking while the singles will be held at Chatswood, Mosman, Killara and Cammeray. For players interested in entering further information and the entry form can be found on the ACA website.

All croquet players are welcome to attend the welcome function, the Tournament Dinner, purchase a Tournament Shirt and/or attend as a spectator at any of the venues. You will be guaranteed spectacular action.

The Tournament Referee is valiantly trying to recruit referees for this event. If you are qualified and can spare some days she will be very pleased to hear from you.

The welcome function will be held in the Library at the Concordia Club from 5 to 7pm on Friday 13 May, with Concordia providing food platters. Cost is $10/head - please add this to your entry fee. Bar service would be available from the Concordia Club, who also provide evening meals if you want to stay on. The welcome function would also double as tournament registration, and the Tempe lawns will be available for practice before hand.

The Tournament Dinner will be 6.30 for 7pm at Roseville Memorial (RSL) Club on Saturday 21 May at a cost of $35 for a two course meal - Rack of Lamb or Barramundi, sweets consisting of Lemon Tart or Apple Strudel [alternate serves], and tea & coffee. Parking is likely to be difficult - there is a small public car park behind the Club, or park along the Pacific Highway, and possibly across the railway line. Catching a train there may be a good solution.

The Tournament Shirts will be double contrast PolyPolo in white with navy blue side panels, and an embroidered badge. Still only $40, but only available in Men’s sizes. Please pay with your entry fee.

Limited accommodation for players is available in Sydney - if interested, please contact Martyn Prins direct by or 0411 303 911.
