Australian Golf Croquet Championships
21st August to 1st September 2013
Hunter Region, NSW

The annual "Nationals" are being held in the Hunter Region this year. It is the highlight of the Golf Croquet year and generates great excitement wherever it is held.

The Championships are divided into three parts:

  1. The Gold Medal. The Champion player from each state meets his/her peer from the other states to decide who is the best singles player for Australia. After three days of combat the winner claims the GOLD MEDAL.
  2. Men’s and Women’s Singles Championships. Players from all over Australia enter these two events to claim their title. Arising from the four days of intense competition come, not only the winner, but the much sought after Plate and consolation Trophies.
  3. The WCF Interstate Shield. Mixed teams from each state battle for 5 days in singles and mixed doubles to decide the winning state team. Fierce competition provides a great spectacle for those lucky enough to watch .
