Active Kids Vouchers
The NSW Government can now confirm that Active Kids Providers may retain the funding from vouchers that have already have been redeemed where a program has been cancelled due to COVID-19 or a recipient has been unable to continue with the program.
The NSW Government is committed to assisting all organisations, including sport and active recreation providers, to keep jobs and maintain business continuity.
The Office of Sport encourages all providers to examine options to deliver alternatives to existing programs that may be affected by COVID-19. This may include extension, delayed commencement or additional programs that satisfy
Active Kids Provider Terms and Conditions.
Any additional or alternate program delivery is not the responsibility of the NSW Government. Furthermore, if parents were to seek redress for a voucher service not being claimed, it would be up to the provider to provide an additional/alternative service, not the Government.
Active Kids vouchers remain valid until 31 December and the second voucher will become available to parents from 1 July to 31 December.
