Croquet New South Wales has received a government grant to promote croquet to schools and the wider community. Part of this is for each club to hold a Come and Try day or days, to be held in September. Contact your local club for details, and download the Have A Go! handout.

Earlier this year Croquet Australia requested that Bruce Fleming convene a committee to look at the tournaments currently being conducted by Croquet Australia and to suggest any improvements and changes. The report was discussed by the ACA executive and then sent to the states for their comments. States were requested to bid for tournaments by the end of May. Apparently not all states have replied so none of these bids have been confirmed. Croquet New South Wales has offered to conduct the following:-
2010Open Golf Croquet Doubles and Singles Championship - proposed date 15 - 23 May
2011Patrons Trophy (Association) OR Trans Tasman
2012Patrons Trophy (Golf Croquet)
2013Interstate Golf Croquet (WCF Shield), Gold Medal, Men's and Women's Singles

The 11th Australian Golf Croquet Singles Championships will be held at the Victorian Croquet Centre, Cairnlea, from Saturday 29 August to Tuesday 01 September 2009. Download entry form and conditions of play. Entries close 26 July.
