The newly elected Croquet NSW Board has met, and elected the following Office Bearers for the coming year:
Chair: Kate McLoughlin
Deputy Chair: Rik Mills
Secretary: David Scott
Treasurer: Steve Miles
Newsletter: Liz Friend
Grants and Projects: Rosie Landrebe
Board Member: Ray Chapman
The new Board members will be introduced in the November newsletter. We look forward to working for the member Clubs of NSW over the year ahead.

The Croquet NSW AGM and Forum was held on Saturday 23 October at 11 am via Zoom. The Annual Report was presented to members. The following Board members were elected for a one year term: Ray Chapman (Ballina Cherry St), Liz Friend (Nelson Bay), Rosie Landrebe (Cammeray), Kate McLoughlin (Canberra), Steve Miles (Cammeray), Rik Mills (Orange City), David Scott (Ballina Cherry St). Congratulations all! The members forum included a Presentation on Hubs, a question on handicapping, a statement from Cooks River Croquet Club, and an alert to coaching coming up.   3. AGM October 23, 2021. Delegates need to register before October 17 to receive your invitation to participate by zoom and to vote. Delegates do not need to be on your Club Committee, but need to be a Club member, approved by your Committee as the Club’s Delegate.

  5. Tournament vaccination requirement. The Croquet NSW Board has approved the following requirement for CNSW Tournament Entries:
    • Only players who have been double-vaccinated against COVID-19 will be permitted to take part in CNSW events until further notice.
    • As a condition of entry players must be prepared to show proof of vaccination at the event. Players must not play in tournaments if they are unwell or need to comply with stay at home orders.

The new CNSW Constitution is now in operation after registration with the NSW government on 2 July 2021. 42 clubs approved the new constitution, 1 opposed and 2 clubs had invalid or unclear votes. The new constitution recognises that CNSW is a body that represents clubs, and clubs in turn have registered players. A special vote of thanks must go to the legal team of Michael Strickland and Ted Griffin.
